So I recently joined the GM family when I got rid of my F150 and picked up a 2001 Denali that didn't need much other than a fuel pump, brakes, and wheel bearings. Replaced all of that over the weekend and my boys and I have a excellent riding vacation mobile. It was a nice upgrade over a built 5.4 on 35s averaging 6.14mpg all the time. Haha. 36lb injectors are never the answer!

I'm very happy with it though, and so are my boys. We needed something comfortable and I believe we finally found it, even with it's age it's in great shape. So I'm a very pleased brand traitor! Figured this forum will be a great help for fixing it up or repairing things that come along in a hopefully long pairing with it.
