New here,

What will be a nice tire for 26's? Just got some Black KMC Slides 26's for my black 07 Tahoe. The last mod I did was chrome TIS 22's on Nitto 420S with a 2/3 drop with Eibach springs back in 07.

The guy who sold the KMC slides to me recommends 305/30/26 as he got a new set in MattBlack? in that size. He says the slides didn't and his new ones don't rub much and that will wear down the fender well in time if I can support the noise with the Lexani lx-thirty

So I'm on the fence for 295/30/26 Delenti or 305/30/26 Lexani LX-thirty or any other good looking and a nice ride tire?

Thanks in advance.

Any body shop can make the 305/30's fit, and every vehicle is different. I had (what I think to be) pretty significant rubbing in my front fenders with the 305/30's but the body shop said they could deal with it no problem. It is possible 295/30's will fit with no rubbing at all but like I said, each vehicle is different and I believe I still would have had some rubbing issues with 295/30 tires

doing a 2 inch drop the spindles push them out a little more so less rubbing also. if i had 305 30 26 would be pretty harsh since tires are taller but my truck has a 3/5 drop.

no matter what at least a 2/3 drop is needed so doesnt look goofy

I agree. I'm not doing a 3/5 drop anytime soon. When my inlaws [emoji12] are in town I rub with 22s 285 / 45 / 22 in the rear wells.

I'd like to drop the back another inch (2/4) though. So the 295/30/26 would be ideal for that drop correct?

Yes 295 are the best for a 2/4 drop. I have had many 26's with a 2/3 and 2/4 drop and just recently with the new 6's have 295 and barely any rubbing. But offset is a key to rubbing.
