I've got Alenza H/L's in 20's on my '11, was the OEM tire. No issues in snow, on my 3rd set at 150k miles. Great tread life and I tow sleds into the ADK lake effect zone. Not a true snow tire but no need for dedicated snow tire so far. I've been down the AT tire road on my old Yukon, never again with the poor highway wear and ride.

I had factory Alenzas on my 13 LTZ and they were very good. The new Alenzas, not worth a shit. Toyo AT III on the 23, excellent!

Damn, wife just side swiped a plow with the pass side of the Tahoe. Got both doors. She is fine, but mad as a wet hen! Off to the body shop!

Good luck. Glad everyone is safe. Bummer about your ride, but at the end of the day, it’s plastic and steel. That can be repaired.

Mine is at the body shop right now, bumped a tree in January…took this long to get in and get parts. Hope yours is quicker.

Michelin Defebders is my vote…. I had the BridgesStone Alenza’s for OEM. I swapped to Defenders but not totally due to the Alenza’s. I was trading the TX Edition polish red aluminum rims to Gloss Black anyway and took advantage of the wheel swap to switch everything and keep the OEM rims neat for trade in.

I have the 23 Premier with Continental (20’s) I did swap to the Gloss Black rims but stayed with 20’s. I won’t swap the tires just to swap them but when ready I will trade out to Michelin Defenders. I have had excellent luck with Michelins on past SUV’s and Even BridgeStone Dueler Alenza’s…..weird they were good on my Explorer but not so much on the Tahoe….must be the size difference……….I know someone is going to enter a…..”That’s what she said”……..get it over with you juveniles…

Pulled my 7000 pound race trailer and averaged 13 mpg while towing. Towed great and very happy with the fuel economy. This Tahoe never seems to disappoint with power or fuel economy.

Its a little disappointing that they dont do as well as the previous gens did, but still very acceptable IMO.

Swapped factory muffler and flapper valve for a magnaflow stainless muffler. No more tin can sound on start up, no more whoosh sound from a stuck flapper valve, and a nice throaty sound. wife loves it! Will track fuel economy with new straight through muffler and see if we get any gains.

Going back to the body shop. The left rear got backed into from some douche with a trailer. Got the upper and lower bumper cover. Damn. Have not been on a trip to check fuel economy. Wife still likes the sound.

Just an update on the tires. Have about 25,000 miles on them. Still going great. Rotate every 6,000-10,000 miles or whenever I start to see any abnormal wear. Very happy with them. They are great in ice and snowy conditions.

Man, my '23 is just over a month old, and I wouldn't have thought there was anything wrong with the factory Bridgestones before reading this forum. Hmm...
