on the look for some new wheels to replace the ate up chrome moto metal 951's.

have to be 16" and 9-10" wide. leaning towards teflon (maybe they will last more than a year...) but the only ones i have come across so far are the ATX Artillery's.

anyone know of any others or other sugestions that would be more fitting to the Hoe?

really like those wheels actually, but they are only showing them in 16x8's.

finish on them just keeps going to hell, all the salt and liquid de-icer they dump here... chrome is definitly out of the question, thinking teflon may be the only thing that could possibly hold up for atleast a few years.

couldn't get the American Racing site to load or do anything tonight, have to try it again tomorrow see what else i can find.

looks like the hoe will be getting some 16x9 artillery's thrown on it when 4wheelparts fixes the rear end (again) in a couple weeks. only thing I came across fitting in the 9-10" width and teflon.

if it was tire time it would be getting some 20" rockstars with some taller procomp rubber... have to wait till the artillery's bite the dust. :D

You might wanna consider getting a beefier rear end if you keep on breakin' them...

Your lucky though these GM axles are notorious for just taking everything with 'em when they go bad, specially that goddamn G80 locker option.:emotions122:

P.s.- the artillery is a nice looking wheel!

rear end is fine, my problem is 4wheelparts not setting up the gears right and then not reinstalling my E-locker correctly so it ripped out the wiring...

so 4th times a charm i guess... 2 sets of G2 gears and be on my second set of Yukon gears and 2nd locker... just want them to fix it so i can be done with the ********. did a great job on the lift, but 4 trys to get a rearend to last more than a couple thousand miles.... you know... the original gears AND G80 made it through 162,000.

can't wait to throw on the new shoes and hopefully the roof rack. :D

Guess you already bought the new wheels but you could have the old ones stirpped and powder coated...
A place at the house does them pretty cheap..Quoted a buddy of mine $200 to do his grand am 16" wheels..
