I know nothing about headlights, the last pair i bought were spyders and they were junk.

nope. Same as all the others. the projectors are junk. Either get a pair of TYC OEM replicas, or do a retrofit

Yup that's it. If your not in a rush wait a couple weeks till black Friday to order and trs normally offers a 20% or better discount. The new xb ballast may be ready to ship by then also. If I were you I'd also upgrade to the new xb35 bulbs as well

I've been reading your write up, when you painted the inside housing did you have to use high temp paint? If not I would like to paint mine the same color as my tahoe, would look good with the SS bumper cover and painted grill.

I just used some paint made for plastics. I think it was krylon fusion... I also used adhesion promoter as well. As for those eBay h1 projectors... They aren't bad but there are much better. I'm using acura tl projectors, and a set of those generic h1 projectors for the quad look. However if I were to do it over again I would have went with a better set of 2nd projectors. The morimoto stuff is definitely great, I love my new xb35 bulbs .superbright

i gota guy in NY whos gona do mine for me , i dont have time to do it . plus he did my heads in my maxima and a few other friends came out AWESOME !!!

I picked up some Depo projectors to do me until I can do the retro fit, should be here saturday, i love amazon prime! lol
