Congrats on the new ride. I guess I'm lucky I have the gold mist color on my kon. It blends in well with dirt. Lol

Got my Denali U&L grills on...

DG.jpg

I also found my build sheet for my truck.

XA7 = Heated washer nozzles. This means the when I squirt my windshield washers the fluid is heated?

And I have the DL3 mirrors, but I also have VPD = Vehicle Personalization Chrome Package, Special Edition Chrome Package.

I'm guessing that's why I have the:

Denali handles (yes they're full chrome and not stick ons)
Chrome mirrors. I tried to see if it was a cover and I can't get it off
Chrome tow hooks
Denali rear bumper pad while still having the Yukon bumper???

Anyone have a clue?

Yeah, the first three make sense ... although my 10 denali came without chrome tow hooks but maybe yours had them as part of that rpo.

No way on the last one ... yours would be the first and last Yukon ever to be built with a mismatched bumper and pad/trim from factory. Most likely the previous owner bought the upgraded pad not knowing that it's too big (easy mistake to make) and decided to keep it anyway.

Grilles look great btw ... love how the gmc emblem matches your paint.

The washer resivoir should be what is heated, not the nozzle itself?

Our burban had that, but GM put out a recall on it and we brought it in. They disabled it and gave us a $100 check. :)

That's what I was thinking too. Just weird that it's on there.

hmm... guess i would have to check the reservoir out to see exactly what it is and if I still have it on...

the control for it is under the AC controls. It doesn't just "turn on."

If you press the button, a light should turn on, if it does, yours is still active, if not, its been disabled and removed from the vehicle. It was causing engine bay fires and the manufacturer of the heater said "oh shit, we're outta here! Bankrupt!"

Well, I have the button, but when pressed, nothing happens. O well...

Today update...

Tint = 4% all around and 35% on the entire front windshield and I removed the front vent. Not sure what I'll do about the scratches, but it's 1000 times better

Edgar, it does not scratch the paint when installed properly. It is supposed to be installed along with 4-6 little rubber bumpers on the hood that prevent the guard from actually touching the hood.
In Nathan's case they were not installed.

Very nice Yukon Nathan!

Too small for a NNBS... ;)

I'll take some pics later. I actually got some vinyl that matched my truck and put a piece from the grill to the headlight that's about 1/2inch tall. You can't even see it from 2 feet away. That's temporary until I figure something out. I just had to get the ugly bug guard off.

Basically yeah. There was double sided tape in the middle and two metal U brackets that just push on each side that were suppose to have rubber between the U brackets and the hood to protect it, but those weren't there.

you lowering this one?

of course, I was about to send you a PM from TBSSOwners, but I'll send you one from here in a little bit. It depends on whether I get 24's or 26's, but either way, I want to go as low as possible.

Shout out to TBBSOwners and my old SS...

low as possible
front djm 4 inch kit
rear djm hardware kit
rear bumpstops
rear belltech springs with dead coils cut.

You would then add helper bags and your good to go. YOu can do 4/6 no problem.

but if you do 26s then cant go that low.

:waytogo: A 1000 times better without the Bug Deflector is simply an UNDERSTATEMENT!!!!!!

Not sure what the laws in your state are in regards to window tint, but here in California I would never DARE to tint my rig the way you did!

For sure looks nice, but this is the kind of stuff that get's you pulled over, ........ just at the moment you had that one extra beer. ;)

I have a medical exemption from the state of Florida. Tint laws no longer apply to me or any cars I own. I put my wifes vehicles in my name as well.
