Should've grabbed the barn door rear glass.
Way too difficult to remove and probably just hang around and not sell. I swapped the active door glass when I had to buy replacement door. Wasn't fun. And my shed is already filled with all the plastic interior and dash cap, door panelsShould've grabbed the barn door rear glass.
I pulled 3 sets of 12 ga thru mine and it was a complete *****. I used all sky high car audio wire and it’s kind of like the blue wire you used. It’s s super soft case so it doesn’t slide across sit lol I had to take out the plug like in this photo and cut the factory speaker out and I ended up drilling a 1/2” hole in it to feed the wires thru. Pain in A. Then the front doors don’t have that style can nection lol piece of ****
How does this box sound? Is it solid? Have you ever thought about fiberglass wrapping it to make it even more solid?
I was going to remove mine to but didn’t see any other support so changed my mind. Don’t need to take it out anyways I found out. I shrill have it in both my chevys. What I did do tho is pull out their AC control Then took a hacksaw blade and Trimmed down underneath the radio behind the AC knobs. Also made a new wiring harness for the radio that way I didn’t have to have that monster plug. What I don’t use the radio power the speakers it’s all off amps so I have four more wires up there but it was a pain in the ass and still is every time I have to take one of them out is the RCA’s, having three sets of them back there because the ones I have are the old Rockford Fosgate gama technology rca’s Half inch round with a big Rockford Fosgate emblem on each end then like 2-3 inches Wires come out of that with 1 inch long metal ends. Getting ready to Take those out and toss them in the garbage to!We don't need no stinking bracketView attachment 229311 View attachment 229312 View attachment 229313
Not really sure as I've never used it. All I did was test it out.How does this box sound? Is it solid? Have you ever thought about fiberglass wrapping it to make it even more solid?
