That box barely has any volume as it is, good thing you didn’t put the amp inside it if that’s what you were trying to do or it would be even less. Too bad MTX quit making the Thunderform enclosure, it has enough for a 10”.

It should sound okay with tube just mounted on floor in rear. Was hoping to avoid but it will be quick disconnect so nit bad.

Got all the plastics back in. Wired the backup camera, tied in the reverse signal wire., wired the microphone, Just need to secure the crossovers and mount the remote aux/usb port. Wanted to put it in one of the 3 12v ports but that section of dash is to tough gain rear access. Just gonna use the under dash mount kit. Then all that's left is get some of the Suburban parts sold to fund the dash mount kit.

Gotta let us know how the fit is. Use your metal clips from the original bezel tho, I heard the metra clips suk.
Probably do it tomorrow or Thursday. I'll post results. Trying to manage time. Also have to finish the job I started on my Corvette. Only had it out once since spring. And have a car show the 21st and race event in November.

Installed the new Metra dash bezel today. very happy with ease of installation and fitment. couple notes, definitely good advise using OEM clips. on the rear there were some pins that the oem piece had rubber caps on that the Metra piece did not, I assume anti rattle, they were easy enough to transfer over. head unit brackets worked great. hardest part of the job was Removing OEM clips from stock bezel. not too bad just that was the hardest part. I am so happy I went this route over modding mine or the 03+ mod which looked like a pia. overall extremely happy. in the future I will hydro dip for coolness. although in my gray interior the matt black could pass for oem. Well having an un rusty dent free truck didn't last long. taking my wife to Dr. Appointment on Tuesday a guy back out of his parking spot right into my rear lower quarter. frustrating as hell. still awaiting for him to return call to Geico. we both have Geico you would think it would be cut and dry. he was a Dr, so I'm sure all his stuff is good. they told me as soon as he returns their call they can send an adjuster to look at my truck but as of now he hasn't returned their call.
