SHIT IS ***** FRESH TO DEATH! NICE NIEGHBORHOOD TOO!

Did you have to raise it to fit?

X2 On Backing up into the Driveway. I think it elevates the house and the ride! I do it all the time!

Thanks for the compliments!

It did not have to be raised for them to fit... the suspension is stock (for now) and there is only slight rubbing on the plastic fenderwell lining during partial turns. There is no rubbing at full lock turns such as U-turns.

My lowering kit arrived but has not yet been installed:

The kit will allow up to 4 inches of drop in front and rear but I don't see myself going lower than 2/3. There will be slight cutting of the plastic... but only when the heat gun treatment doesn't do the trick.

Thanks! They are 8000K H11 HID's, got the idea from "Laredo Texas" on the TahoeForum site. It was a very simple install. The only issue I encountered was having to removing a tab from each bulb so it would seat flush against the housing... silicone was used to hold it in place and provide a seal. There are now two additional connectors (harness to ballast and ballast to bulb) which need to be disconnected when the tail light housing is removed... but it's worth the hassle. They are much brighter that the stock bulbs and are great when reversing or entering the Yukon in dark areas.
