Did you have to raise it to fit?

Did you have to raise it to fit?

It did not have to be raised for them to fit... the suspension is stock (for now) and there is only slight rubbing on the plastic fenderwell lining during partial turns. There is no rubbing at full lock turns such as U-turns.

My lowering kit arrived but has not yet been installed:

OMG...How much are you gonna lower it? I assume your going to cut out the plastic that rubs when you drop it?

OMG...How much are you gonna lower it? I assume your going to cut out the plastic that rubs when you drop it?

The kit will allow up to 4 inches of drop in front and rear but I don't see myself going lower than 2/3. There will be slight cutting of the plastic... but only when the heat gun treatment doesn't do the trick.
