Check out Manoa Falls, it is a quick drive and not a long hike only 45mins or so. Koko head is a good hike as well. I used to run up and down it twice a day when I was a kid. Waimea Bay might be breaking so if it is surfing up their is gonna be big. Also if you shop at all and are in Waikiki drop by Aloha Army its on Lewers Street. Hotels I would suggest Hyatt or anything under 100.00 a night. Don't bother with expensive rooms unless you got it like that. My aunt works at Royal Hawaiian if you stay their let me know but it costs a lot. Also try to make it to Leonards Bakery.
