Looking good man. Like the updates for this project and glad you kept the Tahoe and ditched that rear spoiler. Nice to have a donor vehicle and being a Caddy so many cool parts to swap over.

Hmmm.. I like the rear bumper better than a roll pan, especially in your neck of the woods. Bump and push for parking spots right? I see a dented lift gate if you go with a roll pan. Just my .02.

Thanks brother, that rear spoiler was an eye sore...only reason I kept it on so long was to try and fit an Escalade third brake light into it somehow...I'm still thinking of ways on how to incorporate the Esky third brake light onto the Hoe with the barn doors

Having a donor vehicle is great, almost everything interior/exterior wise fit 100% making for 1 cool ride for under $5k

The shaved rear bumper looks pretty cool and is something I haven't seen around here on any other Tahoe, it's also fairly inexpensive...I may pull the trigger and hope people in my neighborhood use some vigilance when parking or I will be visiting the paint/body shop until we move

The Hoe runs like absolute garbage, it feels like it only has 50hp lol...I want to start looking around and find a place that can swap the 6.0 engine and tranny into the Hoe. Hopefully everything will be a direct swap but I'm not sure since the Esky is awd???

Once I swap out the engines and remove a few more interior pieces, anyone local to me can come and take what's left of the Esky...all I want in return is a 6 pack lol

@95escahoe you have first dibs on the front and rear bumpers brother...or the entire truck:thumbsup:

The engine and tranny are a direct swap in terms of it being AWD I think your transfer case bolts up and your good to go I'm not 100% sure, let me know when the trucks all striped hell if I had a way to get it here I'd take the shell, what part of NY are you in? I could use those bumpers

Hopefully it all bolts up without any issues. I work all kinds of crazy hours(2 jobs) so it's gonna take me a few weeks to actually find a mechanic that can do the swap...I'm in the Bronx but the Esky is at my buddies house up in Yonkers

Get a flat bed and take it all brother

Maybe I'll have to see, all I really need is the bumpers, and driver-side running board, but the whole truck could come in handy for other parts down the road

Running boards are getting swapped onto the Tahoe as well, sorry brother. Feel free to take the rest of the truck even though it will be a Tahoe interior wise :D

It's ok no worries let me know when it's ready and I'll figure something out either grab a few parts or the whole truck

Did you ever get the intake off my 6.0 installed? Seems like getting it running right might be a bit easier than swapping out the motor!

I haven't had a chance to install the intake yet, I've been using the Tahoe as my dd since my other truck is getting new turbos installed. I'm gonna have a mechanic install the intake first to see if that resolves the rough idle and lack of hp...it sucks having to pay someone to do an easy job thanks to my crazy work hours :(

I drove the Esky for the first time yesterday since the day I bought it and all I can say is DAMN that engine runs great! it has lots of balls and the cai sounded sweet under heavy acceleration. The 5.3 in the Tahoe is a dog, even if I get it running right again swapping in that 6.0 is inevitable

I'll be more than happy to return the intake if you need it back brother
