So far I'm winning 231,446 unrebuilt engine/trans. It's been a great truck- it still only uses half a quart between changes. Who has more?

Awesome! I knew someone would have more than me. I hope to see my truck go to 300k without rebuild, but that's probably a pipe dream. I think the engine might do it, but I have doubts about the transmission. I am knocking on wood for more mile but couldn't blame the truck now if anything happens. I've gotten my money's worth.

One of my coworkers has a 2002 Tahoe with the 4.8 that just hit 275,000. Until recently it was a work truck for the civil engineering company that we work for and it has had a very tough life. It is one of the reasons that I bought my 2003 Yukon XL.

1st post, just bought a '00 a few months ago. I'm the second owner. It's got 220K and the engine is original. I got it for $2,800 because the original trans went out. I've only put about 500 miles on it but I love it!
