I thought ya'll might like to see some pictures of another overlanding trip just completed with the old Tahoe! These were taken this past weekend in the Ozark National Forest in Arkansas. I was the only Tahoe; the other 5 vehicles were all Jeep Wranglers!

Sweet!!!

I've never built a 4x4, mine have always been lowered. But stuff like this makes me want to raise my next vehicle.

Awesome photos man , Water crossings claim a lot of vehicles to the inexperienced every year but it looks like you made a wise call !

Mine's not lifted! I have a slight torsion crank in the front, and coiled helper springs in the rear. Otherwise she's mostly stock with 33" mud terrains.

Thanks. I've been doing these sort of trips and adventures for about 3 years now. I have elevated all the breathers on my diffs and tranny, and I watch out for swift water. This past spring, I watched as a smaller vehicle was swept away in front me during a particularly nasty crossing after a lot of rain. Needless to say, the rest of us turned around and found an alternate route!

Those last two pics look like real pucker moments! Is your drivetrain stock?
