I looked, doesn't look like anyone's asked this, but, I'm new and probably not using the right terminology..
I want to take the middle row captain's chairs out of my 2019 Denali. I've pulled back the carpet, found two 18mm nuts (GM did good with the stud design on these!) but, I'm following under the carpet what feels like a tail on the chair mount that extends all the way back and under the plate just forward of the anchor in the middle of the cabin floor on each side. Is that right?
In any case, I'd like to temporarily take the seats out for more cargo space (upcoming nuptials), which is to say, make room for two big dogs.
Is it really just the two bolts that hold these in? What's all involved? Do I need to pull a ton of the carpet up to get the chairs out?
