Needing to buy a new hood and I live close to LMC. They say their hood will fit only American and Canadian built trucks but yet won’t provide any measurements. What could be the difference??

A quick wikipedia search shows in mexico the GMT800 platform "tahoe" was called a Sonora. Although after looking at pictures of these so called sonoras, I don't see any differences.

Is your truck assembled in mexico ? IF so, do you see any differences in the truck you have versus the ones you've seen ?

The earlier variations of the Sonora had a 350/5.7 RPO R31. Moving to the 5.3 in later models, around late 2003, early 2004.

that is one unique looking vehicle there. I am not a mopar fan, but with that short wheelbase, looks like it would spin a tire pretty easy. LOL
