So I installed a new monitor in my dash over the weekend which involved removing the dash bezel and radio. I was also poking around to inspect my orange tow/haul wire attached to the shifter. Now I have this metallic rattle when hitting bumps. Sounds like it's around the steering column/behind the gauges. A search brought up a thread where someone claimed to fix a similar sound by zip tying a loose wire they found behind the dash.
Anyone experience and fix this?

Thanks

Narrowed it down. When I punch the bottom of the dash, I can hear the metallic clank sound. Just can't figure out what is making the sound for the life of me. There's the metal piece that runs across the bottom of the dash, but I don't see anything that it would make contact with to produce the sound.

pull that panel off and check. easy to remove, pull the dash bezel and then 2 7mil screws at the bottom of the panel and pull towards the seat and out it comes.

May just be a wire clip bouncing around. sometimes the wires hitting that thin metal the column mounts to can make that kind of sound.

Fixed. There is a metal bracket on the right side, that runs vertical. I pushed it over a bit in an attempt to bend it and the noise is gone now.
