I love my 2008 Denali but wife always wanted a caddy. Well local dealer has a 13 Escalade with 125k miles but has a brand new engine for $23k AND is spotless. I crapped when I saw the mileage. My Denali has 208k miles but you’d swear it only has 75k miles. Not sure if I wanna make the switch since I’ve got the Denali exactly the way I like it. Hellwig sway bars, all new suspension, new paint, and a whole laundry list of things

Is the only way for you to get the Escalade would be to trade in your Denali? If you could get the Caddy first, you could swap whatever main parts (sway bars, etc.) between the two to lessen the loss, then sell your Denali to put towards the Escalade. If you could float the note for a little while, you'd likely come out ahead since you're sure to get more for your Denali selling it privately and it'd be an upgrade for both of you- newer/nicer ride, half the mileage, and some of your upgrades straight outta the gate.

Just a word of advice some people will try and rip you off when they see the Caddy

That's exactly what I'd do.

a 13 caddy with a new engine for 23k is a fairly good deal. presuming it is a factory engine with 3yr 100k warranty>?

true since my grandpa had a XLR and they jacked up the price of the repairs. 800$ with autozone part is a rip off. that was jsut for the rear brakes. ( 400 labor )

i changed out brakes before it does not take 4 hours. maybe a 1/2 hour at the most

a tint shop charged me a extra 10$ for some tint

Thanks. Yes I’ve always had compliments on it. Biggest issue is rust. It’s getting ready to explode in rust. I’ve had virtually every panel repainted at least once. That and I’m to the point I just want something newer. Not 100% yet but maybe an Audi Q7, Durango R/T, or newer Denali/Escalade

They are the Spyder projectors with led bulbs for the lows. I would get you a new nighttime pic but I sold it. I will have to look to see if I have anything from when I did it. I like the. But the led DRL lights are pointless

I would keep the Denali if it was for you, but dude, you already have TWO nice rides for yourself. Get the Esky for the wife since she wants it.

Here’s some pics of the Spyders with LED low beams in first pic. Second is those with LED fogs. 3rd pic is with halogen high beams
