Hahaha dude im not being mad its a legit question cause if it is junk then imma take it back to him. It sounds good now but i dont want it wearin out like a $5 *****..you know? so if he knows anyhting about the product inform me cause i have no clue.

well products are kinda like personal opinions. You will have legit ones and some that are the full spectrum the other way.
Sure, there are better products, but at what expense?
You know there is the Chevy Malibu...great car, get's you where you want to go and be happy about it. But then there is the Z06...will get you there in more style, faster, but at what expense?
If you like what you have, legit, bang on it. But later you can always add betetr amps, componets, subs, wiring, etc,etc...but the gear and brands are endless. It's just how much money you want to spend.

Sure, some components sound better, but can you be just fine with a $200 set or do you really need a $1200 set?

agreed...was mainly asking to see about longevity of the equipment...is it gonna go out in a month or does it hold together...guess it depends on the user lol

hahah tru that..last tahoe i went through 8 memphis subs then i put JL in and they held strong...but in my SS i blew up a 13.5 w7 on a JL 1000/1 so its kinda hit or miss...thanks for the info and complements and critisism...all helps. Sry for the drama...we all friends here.

From my experience it's good brand, and that amp will do rated power if not more. Well there older stuff did, and since they haven't been purchased by some other company I assume they still do rated power.

And at the end of the day if it sounds good to you that's all that matter. A terrible installer can make good equipment sound terrible.

I fully trust the guy and has lots of experience...he has done me right everytime. The box in my old tahoe was built by him. box, 2 memphis 1000d's, amp for components, components themselves, and subs for $2500. All brand new...he treats me right lol
