I have this thing happening and I couldn't figure out what it was until the other day I felt some feedback through my brake pedal and that kind of clued me into what is happening, but I am not sure why.

Basically, when I make a tight turn at low speed like when turning onto another road it seems like my ABS system is going off and I can feel it through the brakes. It seems to be my front wheels that are doing it because my front passenger wheel seemed to make a lot of noise in one of these instances.

Is there something I can do to fix this?

Is your Tahoe 4wd? Sounds like some binding in the front differential.

Does it throw an ABS light? (and does the ABS light still come on when your first turn the key?).

Are the triggering tight turns on dirt roads? Do you hear some tire chatter or wheel hop when turning?

probably a lazy abs sensor or hub going out causing a erratic wheel speed reading which causes a low speed abs activation, you can confirm with a live data feed on a scanner.
when this happens it will not throw a code depending upon the severity but you will feel/hear it happening
if you can determine if it is a left or right sensor then you can swap the sensors left/right and see if the problem follows the sensor or if it stays, if it stays it is the hub if it follows it is the sensor. a replacement sensor runs about $20

It’s a 2wd Tahoe now and I replaced the hubs about 6 months ago with timken units. I dont remember if the ABS light was on but it sounded like the brake was engaging at rapidly when I was going around the turn. It seems to be turns onto uneven ground.

I guess it's worth looking at the wheel speed data to see if that's where it's coming from.

I noticed when I turn onto my street what sounded like rubbing tires but I guess it's the brakes going off. I guess I will drive home with traction control and all that turned off and see if it helps

That might help, otherwise just pull the abs fuse

holding down the button to disable traction control and stabilitrac seemed to help but that means I’m just avoiding the issue. I guess I’ll dig in and read the wheel speed data
