I initially thought it was a bad pressure sensor, but every time I have had one fail it would pin at either 0 or 80 and would not read at all. I plan on keeping this vehicle on the road so I will definitely be looking into a cam swap hopefully in the near future. Thank you to everyone for the thoughts and insights.

Hello all. As the title suggest I am having issues with low oil pressure. I have an AWD 11 Yukon XL Denali with about 188k on the clock. I have not noticed any issues with the drivability whatsoever but will see readings when at hot idle of about 17psi. She still gets to 6k rpm with no issues at all. I have no lights on the dash other than tpms. After reading through multiple threads the most common issue that I noticed was the oil pump o ring. I went ahead and swapped the o ring along with a new pan gasket and radiator fittings that were previously leaking but am still getting the same readings. According to just about every forum, that pressure is still within range but wanted to get some insight. Time for new Oil pump? Thank you in advance.
I have an 07 with 225k with same issue, I add a bottle of “Lucas high mileage stabilizer” every oil change and it’s showed improvements. This is just a temporary fix but does the trick

At 210k miles on my 6.2L before I started having no oil pressure due to O ring it was hovering at around 16-18psi on teh cluster. new oil pump and O ring it sits at about 27-29 with fresh oil, and at teh end of teh OCI it gets down in the low 20s. I used the high-volume pump. Seems to be feeding the engine the right amount of oil volume now that its quite worn out and keeps it all happy.

Oil additives of every kind are not wise. Oil producers literally spend tens of millions of dollars developing oil formulae with additives packages that are balanced and purposeful. When you add something like Lucas snake oil, you are substituting its chemicals in place of 20% of the total volume of lubricant with no idea how how it will interact with the lube oil. In fact, the Lucas, or others, may upset the balance so much that you end up with junk in the sump. Stop falling for the hype. Don't believe me. Watch a few of Lake Speed, Jr's videos on YouTube. He is a trained tribologist. Nobody on these forums commenting about the greatness of this or that bottle of snake oil knows doodly squat.
