So I got my tahoe Beck yesterday from the Chevrolet dealership. They put new lifters cams heads pretty much rebuilt the top end anyways it runs great now but after driving it for about 35 minutes or so it will pop up and say engine oil low add oil but when I check it, it’s not low. It’s exactly where it should be. Anybody know a reason why it would be doing that keep saying that it needs all when the old level is fine.

I would guess the sensor is faulty or they forgot to plug it back in?. Do you have a code reader? Or take it back to the dealership and let them know it wasn't doing that before the work.

I would go have scanned, but there’s no light on it. Just pops up on my information center and says engine oil low add oil, but no check engine, light or oil lights on.

Right but the computer may have a stored code, even if the CEL is not lit.
