Well it is disassembled and waiting on parts.
I will work on dissapating the water out of the oil after work in the evenings while I wait.
Manifold was pretty bad corroded, forgot to take pics of it but I don't think it's re usable especially around the most forward water port on the even side of the engine, which is where the leak actually was.

Well its been awhile....
I made the desicion to buy another daily driver, since this repair may or may not work.
Purchased a 2008 gmc sierra sle ext cab, 89,000 miles.
I've been busy with the dual career and family, it's now starting to rain so I'm getting back in repairing my old yukon.
Ordered several parts, completed removing the water.
I'm wanting to replace the roller lifters as mine are covered with carbon build up, I plan on new lifters, push rods and rocker arm nuts to complete the task.
I can't find any type of pushrod guide or lifter guide, I know there is one bolted to the block but I can't find it on the internet, exempt from comp cams.
Need some help finding what I need there.

I've never put lifters in one with the roller lifters, is the 217 the only one that I'll need to replace?
I see that 245 may be related to the job?
I can't see well enough to tell what it's function is...

Nevermind, I did some Google image searching and see that 245 is the wear part and 217 is the retainer that holds it down

sorry, yes your need those and the retainer should be re-usable.

Sunlit do you happen to know if a map sensor grommet is available?
