Update on my quote from Sutherland.
FYI:

I gave him my VIN and exact odometer reading 14220 miles.
Todd told me my mileage added $1k to the quote for 72/72 platinum $0 deductible - $2700.00.
If I had 12,000 or less it would have been $1770.00

I have never been in any accidents but I had some tree debris crack the rear side fixed window and I had it replaced with OEM glass but that was my auto insurance that covered that.

I thought that might have had something to do with the increase but was told it was purely mileage.
$1000.00 increase for being 2k miles over the 12k limit.

I thought I read somewhere that 15k was the mileage limit for an increase, but I was wrong, so I’m going to check how to contact kia motors finance and confirm the actual mileage requirements before making any changes.
As far as I know, Dennis Fitchner at Laurel Chevrolet has been well known for offering competitive pricing on genuine GMEPP plans. I’d still get a current quote from him and compare it with another GM dealer, since pricing and incentives can change. Make sure the plan is the actual GM Extended Protection Plan and not a third-party warranty.

It's important to buy this in your first twelve months 12,000 miles if you're going to do it at all. A little bit of procrastination or indecision is gonna cost some reasonable money. I bought mine in the 11th month and at about 8500 miles. Cost was very reasonable for the extra years of coverage I'm going to get out of it.... Bought mine from Todd also...

From what I can tell Sheridan Motors offers the cheapest factory backed plan but they do not offer any sort of financing, this helps them keep their prices lower. Also keep in mind there was a pretty substantial price increase in April if you are referencing any prices quoted in this thread. The person at Sheridan said there could also be a price jump in October but it would be unusual.

I'm waiting until around Feb/Mar 2027 to purchase in anticipation of another price increase and to purchase before our truck is a year old. We don't drive that much so I doubt we will be anywhere near 12k miles.
