Interesting that you would mention the CST and Rancho 4" kits as I was looking at them both for my '13 Z71. That is about all I can go and still get into the downtown parking garage since this is my daily driver. I presently run Terra Grappler 285/60R18E on Fuel Trophy D552 18"x9" wheels. I'm also thinking of going to 305/60 or even 325/60 G2 and figure I will need the 4" especially for the 325's.Get a level kit lift and Bilstein 5100s. The front shocks automatically lift the fron an 1" but are adjustable so maybe only need a 1/2" spacer to mount on bottom. This giving the front 2-2.5" of lift which is fine for stock angles. Then get a 1-1.5" rear coil spacer. If you want 4" go with Rancho or CST any bigger go 7" FTS or McGaughys
Nice Pics guys and great info!
I do have a couple questions however. I have an 08 Tahoe 4x4 and currently stock with a 285/70/17. I am looking at this kit from CCM. http://www.ccmoffroad.com/2007-2014...vy-3-leveling-lift-gmc-sierra-1-25-rear-lift/ Is this the kit I would need it doesn't say Tahoe but their more or less the same and what tire size do yall suggest I run? Keep the 285/70/17 or can I step up a little bigger and will I need to trim?
Ok maybe a few ? But thanks for the help.
3.5/2.5 leveling kit
20x9 ProComp Vertigo rims on 285/55/20 Toyo
What were some of the issues? I've never seen a 3.5" level up front, did it align back to spec? do the angles in the suspension seem alright, or maxed out?
Thanks
installed the 5100's and set the fronts for a 1.75" raise. measuring fenders, the front sits about 1" lower than the front.
