Lane keep assist

Hello! lane keep assist/ departure on my Yukon has been turning off. When I first turn the car on it will stay on for about 5 minutes then turns off until you start the car again. It throws a “camera blocked clean windshield” notification even thought it’s cleaned. One thing I noticed is that the housing where the camera sits is not flush with the windshield, was wondering if anyone knew if that could affect how it functions. I have a picture of the housing cover below

Yes, likely the camera on the left has fallen out of place. See how it is partially obscured by the black darkening? It likely needs resecured and it should be good.

Looks obvious to me from the last pic that the plastic cover is blocking the lens. Get that fixed you’ll be good to go.

Thanks, You think this is something I can like pop back into place? or should it be taken to a shop?

Looks to me like the plastic housing is not snapped on or the clips broke. You can definately fix that yourself.
