K&N air filter

I need to replace my air filter in my nnbs. What kind of air filter should I use? K&n?

I had one in my 04 with zero problems. I have heard of CELs popping up on 07+'s. Maybe over oiled filters coating the MAF.

I would get a AirAid NON-OILED........

Non oiled seem to be the way to go now. If the filter gets over oiled it can suck oil through onto the wires of the MAF (sometimes killing them, and they are $$$)

Does a K&N work if you don't oil it? Or all the hype the oil? It would be nice to buy a K&N because its reusable.

They tell you to use the oil as it is apart of the filter process. No oil on a K&N might pass more dirt.

^^^^ X2....That is why I don't like K&N...... They use oil as a filter....... reminds me old lawnmowers.....
