not really many details in this report, very little in fact, no temperatures or root cause was ever mentioned, the last test which was successful was done in winter time. the bottom line is the vehicles are built to be "just enough" not to be "better", if they really wanted to make them severe duty ready they could easily, otherwise it's up to the up-fitter to do it.

That thermostat is a dumb idea. Good for emissions weenies but really not necessary in the real world where most of us live. Shortens the life of the trans too.
