Proud new owner of an 08 Tahoe Hybrid w/12k miles and we love it.
1st order of business will be to add rear DVD system since the car was not equipped with 1. Can I get some suggestions on where I should look and what I should look for? I prefer 1 that loads DVD into the NAV dash unit and plays thru a monitor in the rear. Dont really have preference for headliner vs head rest displays, also looking for thoughts on that too.
2nd order business - the stereo doesnt seem to have a sub unfortunatley. Dont know if it was supposed to come with it or not but I am considering adding 1. Any thoughts on that 1?
3rd order business - amp - would like the factory Bose system a bit louder. I was expected a bit more ummph than the factory system seems to offer.
Anyhow, 1st post on here and Im totally new to these rides. We were looking at Expeditions but I just couldnt bear to think about 12mpg economy. We are very impressed thus far and Im sure I can tailor this thing a bit more to meet all our needs.
I'll clean it up and post some pics in short order, and Im sure I will have a few more questions as time goes on (like how I can add a roof rack). Also wondering if there is any tax credit on buying used hybrid, probably not.
