That's cool. I've seen some custom window sub boxes, but nothing like this one.

Sounds 10 times better than stock...just enough bass but not absurd. I love it

i was eyeballing one of these as well.. i want to run a center console and that but i have the blastic vent thing in the front of the dash.. wish i could find a way to remove that and have the center box also.. how to maybe...? lol

That's kind of what I was looking for, a little more bass without the "ground-pounding".

Since you have one, how is it to sit in the drivers rear with the subs in your left ear?

I was thinking of having the install shop run a remote bass knob so I could hush it down when/if someone ever has to ride back there...

why not get the jl slealthbox that goes in the center console...hidden out of sight but much better bass than stock

some models don't support the center console box.. i know mine won't

you must have the 3 cupholder console with lockbox to use ther console stealth.

I did see that as well, I just wanted to check my options.

I also thought this install might be easier.

i have the little plastic piece for the A/C floor vents after the console so the stealth box won't fit according to them.. unless i can find some way to remove that.. haven't looked at it much tho.. aint got much going on tomorrow might check it out

Oh I see...I was under the impression that the console stealthbox would fit as long as you had the one I pictured....you have to remove the bose sub and replace it with this one.

ya.. i wish on the JL site it has the warning if you have the AC vent.. but like i said I'm gonna check it out tomorrow see if there is a break in it somewhere i can take the extension off with and make the box fit..

Dont you have to chop up the console and lose all the storage space for the JL box?

B.G., i agree. I thought about buying the box and ebaying the sub so I could put in my choice.

maybe i don't have the vent i didn't get a good look tonight but i snapped this pic at a red-light so it looks just like a console panel in the way not a A/c vent
