2011 Base Yuk Denalis 4wd go for around $53.5 in my area.

Use cargurus.com to find good deals ... enter the car you want, unlimited distance from zip, and either sort by vehicle miles low > high or by deal/value. It will give you a good indication of what's going on with prices nationwide. :waytogo:

I'd recommend black interior, but that's just my personal opinion. :)

$57,500.00 is alot of coin, If you can wait it out until September-December, you'll get it cheaper.

Hmmm..

'preciate the replies. So is that a yes or no on the price? I figured this forum would know.

This is basically a pre military retirement present for myself so I'm definitely buying brand new. I want to know where every mile came from!!
The average time I keep a vehicle is 10 years so I'm not really worried about resale value.
I don't want a Hybrid because they don't have the power that I'm looking for. Plus I don't buy vehicles for gas mileage.
I've looked all over and after tax, tags, title the vehicle all come up to over $58K. Even after looking on Gar Gurus for 2010s after taxes, tags, title the vehicle only comes up to about $4K less than what I'm looking to pay for it so I might as well drop an extra $4K for something brand new (Used car prices have gotten ridiculous).
Also going thru USAA here's what I got. TOTAL Invoice: $59,258 MSRP: $62,590 USAA Price: $54,508. Taxes in VA are 3%. Then there's destination fee, dealer doc fee, and registration. All that comes up to over $57,500 and its still under MSRP.
The only option that I'm willing to part with is the SZBA. I just threw that in there since most of the Yukons that come up already have that option installed.
I currently drive a 1998 Expedition (that I purchased in 2001) and it is definitely time to retire her!!
I'm at a loss here. What's a brother to do!!!! LOL

Go to Edmunds.com and then you can look up the invoice price that the dealer is paying to GM for the vehicle (not including holdback). That will tell you how good of a deal you are getting.

I'm in Virginia (Richmond) too and bought (ordered) a 2011 Tahoe LTZ with MSRP just undet 57K and got exactly 10% off before rebates (2K) and taxes and fees. Maybe that will give you a reference for what you can shoot for but I did have to work hard to get that and buy out of town. Does your price include any rebates if applicable now? You mentioned destination fee but that should be included in MSRP.

BTW I love the White Diamnd although I chose the Red Jewel. I disagree with the comment for the black interior. The cashmere really goes well with the White Diamond. If it was the pure white then black would be a good choice. JMHO.

the promotion is 3000 rebate or 0%/60months-- AND i just got a promo for an additional 1500 off plus an additional 750 for being a usaa member - not to mention getting that price--- you shoudl be able to get a new denali with the sun and dest package and the SBZA for just at or under 50K period!

i bought my 2010 denali late march 2010 for 51250-- with this promotion, i could even do better ( except the damn depreciation / trade in value)

good luck i really like the grey and silver color-- black always looks dirty but looks sweet when detailed
