Just wanted to introduce myself as I just ordered a 2015 Yukon Denali! :) I see a few names I recognize which is great and I think we might end up sponsoring here as well as my company offers custom programming for basically any module in these vehicles and have done quite a few trucks for dealers already such as custom radio firmware to allow you to remove all the in motion lockouts, VCIM programming to allow on star to link a bluetooth VCIM to your account etc.

Anyway great to be here can't wait to dive into the new truck!

I am very interested in programming my vcim. I've got an 08 hybrid and the onstar module went bad. Bought one out of a 2010 Buick enclave which gave me bluetooth but onstar won't activate it since it shows a different vehicle. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well I'm not a sponsor here (yet?) so I can't really elaborate but the service wouldn't work on a 2010 VCIM anyhow as the software versions are significantly different and there is no way for an on star tech to bridge that large of a gap.

I see. Is there a particular year vcim with bluetooth I could get for it to work?

Thanks for clearing that up. That one comment alone is more clear than hours of time on the phone with onstar.

you know that you can activate it still,,,they will just think that you are in a 2010 buick enclave,,,but if you call and say you just purchased this enclave they will activate it,,,not sure if you want to do that or not
