While we're pretending like I have more money than god, does anyone have anything to say about STS turbo kits? They sound SOOOO badass...but cost a shit ton from what I've heard.

im picking my lq4 up in the morning hehe..
im going just stock with headers and a tune until i can find a tranny..then ill run a cam, converter, and possibly a little shot of nitrous..

have not gotten that far..that probably wont happen until winter, if not next summer..first thing is finding a 4l65e

ah, or an 80e if that's easier to find...

i could find one, but then comes the battle with the transfercace, front and rear driveshafts etc..the 65e would be a direct swap and at least stronger then a 60e, even if its only a little bit.

Yeah, thats why I'm staying away from the 80E....too much fab work needed to make it fit correctly. I'd rather just go with a 65, and if/when that one goes out on me I'll just beef it up during the rebuild.
