Also, how do I check the status of my order? I believe this is done online.

You can go to GMC's website, go to the chat section and give the chat agent your order number. Depending on allocation, probably 8-10 weeks.

Ordered mine about a week ago. My dealer had allocation. He said they are being told to quote 8 to 12 weeks right now.

I'm not that lucky Julian. I ordered our first one almost 10 months ago, only to get shut out all summer.. Im a little excited today because I scored a deal on a nice set of chrome 20" wheels and tires just like yours off of eBay this morning to run in the winter. Those chrome wheels are now a $700.00 upgrade on the GMC site.
