Still waiting on my order to arrive, but curious. Does HUD work only with OEM GPS or does it communicate with Apple Car Play navigation apps as well (Apple maps, Waze, Google Maps, etc.)?

HUD and Instrument Cluster turn by turn guidance works if you use Apple Maps via CarPlay, but not any other nav app (waze, google maps) running in Car Play.
You also get same guidance using the integrated system.
I don't have any android phones, but suspect running google maps via a phone connected via android auto works in the hud/instrument cluster.
