Daily driver is a 2000 Tahoe but recently grabbed a 2002 GMC Sierra at a great price (Under a 1K). The truck will be a once and a while truck to move items, landscaping or simply a spare car if another goes in the shop. It has the typical rocker panel rust holes. Got a quote for $800 each side for a total replacement. Way more than I paid for the truck. Any creative ideas to hide this area? I have been looking at steps or running boards to visually block the rust. Thanks

Not sure how good these look or if they even work, just found them searching around. Could go that route.

From what it sounds this is just a work truck for you. Maybe just cut the areas out and spray on some bed liner with it left open to keep it from further rusting.

Side steps could work if you aren't worried about it spreading. That would probably be the easiest way to go if that's what you're after.
