so I took mine off and removed the vents and covered them with deadner. Color matched my covers while they were off too.

Any way, I have found that removing them and sealing them up have cut down alot on noise outside the vehicle. But...if you are running your air and have it set to fresh air instead of recirculation, there is a good amount of pressure build up in the truck. Its so bad that I can feel it in my ears, now when I run the A/C I also crack one window. Just and FYI in case anyone was wondering.
