Whats changed between Version 1 and Version 3? I'm still not sure if I want to send you the harnesses and have you do it, or just do it myself.

Just the way I make them. Mechanically, they are the same.

You can't avoid the resistors. You have to have them.

Parts are the same.

I know I have to have them, but I wish there were smaller sized ones. All I'm finding are the style you used, and the ceramic and cement ones, which I don't understand, because they have no fins to dissipate heat, and cement doesn't conduct heat, it just absorbs and maintains it. Ceramic is the same way, its used to keep heat in. How do they not cook themselves?

Anyway, all the parts should be here next week. I'll PM you then for pricing without the parts, since I already ordered the harnesses and can get the resistors for cheap too. I love eBay. I got both lights, the appliques, trailer harnesses and spare Tahoe harnesses for under $300 total. :D

I'd recommend using the resistors off of v-leds.com. They have an aluminum heatsink on them already.

I wanted to get the resistors and mounting plates from V-Leds, but they don't have any plates in stock. I'll call them on Wednesday and see when they expect more.

You don't "need" the mounting plates.

I went commando when I had mine and just let them dangle in the breeze.
