I just bought an 05 Yahoe 5.3 Z71 with 258,000 for a DD. Blows a bit of smoke at startup after sitting, probably valve guides. Other than that it’s in great shape and drives great too. Came with led headlights, a new DD stereo with amp and sub and decent black 20’s for $3500.

09 Tahoe.jpg 2009 Tahoe Hybrid 4x4 currently at 200751 miles. It has had wheel bearings/ball jts/plugs/12V battery etc changed out but is the original 6.0 and transmission per the records that came with it. I have changed fluids- wheel bearings - back window etc since I bought it. It runs amazingly well and I am really enjoying driving it. Right now I would rather drive it than my new 18 Denali truck!
I bought it at around 196k and I have not had a lot of opportunity to really look it over super closely yet with all the cold weather. Previous owner had put on a 3.5 lift/20x10 Mayhem wheels and a brand new set of Nitto Grapplers on it a few months before I bought. They decided to sell when the hybrid battery started showing signs of needing replacement. I have one on order. I probably overpaid a little at $6,600.00 but I feel that it is still a decent deal on this vehicle since they spent over 3k on accessories not long before I bought it. I actually like the look of the lift/wheels and tires. The hybrid system fascinates me too, it is interesting to drive such a unique vehicle. GM only made a total of around 33,000 two mode hybrid units from 2007 to 2013 before discontinuing the two mode system (Tahoe/Yukon/Eskie) I need to buy another one for spare parts and park it in the barn LOL. I am sure that it will be hard to source parts in the future for these silly things. The way I look at it, if it blows up and burns to the ground today I am not out very much though, just a cheap daily driver.

190k 05 Tahoe LM7 - original engine, rebuilt 4L60 and T-case, rebuilt rear axle

145k 09 Tahoe L9H - original everything for now, needs nothing but I want to make improvements

22k 15 Mirage - A/C compressor went out at 18K, replaced under warranty.... it's a beater/work commuter car for my other half... it's So SLOW!!! But it gets 40MPG. Living in Colorado makes it's 74 horsepower more like 50

48k 16 Explorer Sport - original everything, 3.5 Ecoboost is very fun.

My 07 Tahoe LTZ has 190,000 miles on it with the original 5.3 engine and original transmission. I am curious how many miles are on everyone else's vehicles and if they still have original equipment.

Nice!
I have an 07 Tahoe LTZ 4x4 but with 282k miles - original everything. I’ll easily hit 300k this year as I commute 900 miles a week for work. Normal maintenance performed regularly. I’ll be replacing the wheel bearings later this week. Other than that, a quart of oil in-between changes keeps her happy.

I'm now just under 159K miles. Original powertrain. I've never owned or operated a vehicle at this mileage before, and I gotta say that she feels good, almost good as new.

I'm actually beginning to plan rebuilding the transmission, if it fails, rather than replacing the rig altogether, and continuing to drive it for a few years thereafter. I've never had that type of thought process about a vehicle before. :)

Just turned 150k on the burb.

Just under a year of ownership and I've put about 8k miles on it, and maybe 3k of money into repairs.

We have just over 230,000 miles on our Tahoe LT. I just changed front right and left wheel hub assemblies yesterday.
Over the past year we had to have the transmission rebuilt, AFM lifters replaced (failed) installed a Range Technology AFM delete module.
The fuel pump failed and was replaced. We bought this with high mileage (195,000) so I knew going in there maybe issues down the road.
With all that said we still like it very much, with all the work done now I dont think twice about going anywhere with it either.
The low purchase price allowed us to pay for in cash and, helped offset what we spent in repairs. It beats paying monthly payments for me.

It will last 300-400k easily. I have an 05 with 265k and it has plenty of life left.
