As I'm dropping in a new GM crate Vortec 350, and practically everything else has been replaced over the last 2 years, it better be good for another 4-5 years....

I don't see me letting mine go anytime soon. It's almost paid for completely, I've had it for just over 2 years, and it's one of the overall best riding vehicles I've ever had.

Now, I realy want a large, obnoxious, coal spewing diesel truck. And that's about the only thing that clould lure me away from my 'Hoe.

Finally found a 2dr Blazer after looking for a realitively inexpensive fixer upper....

She is 92..

Has some cancer.... Rockers, lower bedside, and damn rear door latch just broke free from the body..

153,000 miles on her..

Started with some small stuff and will be making her 100% my style and keeping her forever...

Really want another one so I can build an Overland type rig too...

I've been wanting a 2-door for at least 10 years and I've had my 99 for almost 3 years now. Plans are to keep it, update it, and drive it for the next 50 years... and then bury me in it.

Well I have to defend my choices often. I have a 97 yukon 280,000 on it and stinkin love my truck. Got a new paint job and trans this year and new fuel spider. Aso have a 2003 with 200,000 another great ride. Neither one burns or leaks oil. And no car payments. My grown kids tell me its time to upgrade dad, i just cant do it.

My 1997 Tahoe is the first truck I ever owned I just bought it 2 months ago. I owned 5 cars before that. I will NEVER go back to driving a car. I'm 6'4 and I love all the head room and leg space and my seats are so damn comfy I never want to get out of my truck:roflbow:

I love driving this thing it's so fun. There is times I just hop in it and drive random somewhere but I gotta remember that awesome gas mileage (sarcasm) and stop doing that:licklips:

I want to get at least 5 years out it.

I will have mine until I can no longer drive it or I hand it down to my children (when I have them).
