How have you fixed the "wiggle" in your DEPO Tahoe headlights???

Exactly what this says...I know there have been fixes, but I can't find them.

This is for another member, who I was trying to help, but I don't recall the exact solutions people had and can't find a link to an answer.

What I've noticed since I've been tinkering with my Depo's is that the nylon inserts that the 2 adjusting screws are in & the one nylon insert for one of the mount screws do have a bit of play in them.

If it wasn't for those nylon inserts the rest of the setup seems rigid as can be.

Oh yeah...that reminds me. Someone said a few wraps of electrical tape around something helped eliminate the play.

I believe it also depended on which headlights you got...some were worse than others in the wiggle department.

the holes on mine are a little large where the 2 pins slide through that holds them in so that creates some wiggle. I was thinking of a way to tighten that area up but thought the tape idea on the pins would come off when pushing the pins through.

Not sure how much bigger the holes are than the pin but what about using heat shrink tubing on the pin?

the problem lies where the pins run through the factory holes in the core support, thats a tight fit. Its the brakcet on the lights that the holes are larger in.

I wonder if factory brackets could be switched on the depo lights? That'd give the tight fit

My factory brackets actually had more wiggle than the DEPO brackets...they are identical, though (at least the Denali version).

that may be where that person wrapped electrical tape, around the holding pins, to fill in the gap of the larger holes on the headlights. I may try that on mine

Switching the factory brackets won't work...took a look tonight & there are a few too many differences.

I also noticed a significant weight different between the stock Chevy lights & the Depo projectors. Mine are heavy as ****...
