Guys my 2012 Tahoe came with a non-homelink roof console.

Ones with the Homelink module/buttons are pretty cheap on eBay, does anyone know if the wiring plug would be there in my truck and if I can just grab a homelink unit and put it in place of the one I have?

I would think it would be pretty easy to add it. Not sure on connectors up there though. Some had switches for power folding rear seats and the later models they removed it. I would look on ebay for one from the exact year as yours and see what you can find.

That seems a bit convoluted.

All I want to know is if I buy a homelink roof console out of a similar year Tahoe if the power plug I have will power the homelink module.

I guess I'll have to tear into it and see. I'm thinking it will. I will post back here to let everyone know!
