Yes by the litres. Takes $175.00 approx to fill. Not looking at mpg[emoji85]
I can get about 2 weeks to work(6 days a week) and 2 x drives to the beach for breakfast for $100.
I build bicycles for a hobby so being summertime I'm riding to work when I can.
Power to the pedal[emoji110]

Hey, I’m fairly new here too. We have the same year truck.

I see you’re in New Zealand. Hello from Canada. I have a very old and good friend near Christchurch.

Looks warmer there than here!

Cheers,

Hi Guy's
Just joined today.
I have a 97 yukon that I've owed for a bit over a year now. Has done 118k miles.
Am doing a tidy up with the Suspension as currently it handles like a pregnant ***** Whale [emoji228]. Done front sway/link bushes looking at a belltech 1-3" front 4" rear drop from Carid. Any suggestions for others Suspension suppliers welcome.
Thanks

I loved my ‘97 4wd that I bought new but it ATE brake pads and rotors, irregardless of the brand. Had to replace pads every 7,500 miles and rotors every 15k. Mostly stop and go traffic. Other than that mostly just suspension and minor engine repairs. Traded it in for a new 2005 which I still have along with a 2019.

Hey yes
Big machine for lots of stop & go.
Not having any serious issues so far(touch wood) Just replacing worn Suspension at the moment and will sport package with a 4" drop in the rear,3" front.
I just bought a GMC grill/front panel. Will get that painted and add soon. Can you tell me? Does the chrome Bow Tie grill on my Yukon belong with the year or is it from say a Tahoe or Suburban?
Cheers

Met some people from the states at a local farmers market that we were working on a Saturday morning recently. They thought the truck was pretty tidy for the year too!
Love the left hand drive as we drive on the left over here. Can pull up to the curb and step out onto the footpath

That's a great point....In America we should make all our cars with the driver side on the right so that we don't have to step out of the car into oncoming traffic. Who was the Einstein that decided to put the driver on the left ?! Was it Henry Ford?:chewie:

Going to put the rear sway bar back on today. See new bushes have grease nipples! Funny thing" I was reading a post about pricing difference between front and rear swaybar kits and it's TRUE. The front was like $50 cheaper!

Righto
All done! Should stiffen it up good! Leaf springs next but will wait and do lowering kit at same time. Have worked out it has been dody lifted. Guy I got it from chopped out some of the number plate & rear bumper so that he could get access to the spare wheel lifter. So wish he hadnt done that [emoji849].
Still, Happy days!! Is going to work well with lowering and existing body lift, should make for the Rally look I'm after.

Hi
Yes they do,unless the vehicle license lapses and is deemed deregistered by a default period of 12 months.you would need a new plate as part of the re vinning process. Or if you choose a personalized plate I think you may have to surrender the old plate and then if you were selling the vehicle and wanted to retain your personalized plate you would have to buy replacement plates. The personalized plate remains the property of its owner and can be added to any one vehicle of choice.
Hows that? Quick question, long answer lol[emoji111]

Welcome from Oregon! Man I want some salami now and I don’t really even like salami. And $175 to fill it up? Yikes. Mine gets about 9-10 mpg so that would suck. Looks like you’re on your way with suspension upgrades. Those sway bars will help for sure but the biggest difference will come when you lower it. Bet ya can’t wait!

Wassup Oregon[emoji109]

Just made a new product today.
A pepperoni frankfurter with cheese.
Yummmm! Taking some hotdogs buns to work tomorrow. The breakfast of champions!

$175.00 Will last me 21 days driving and that's with being a bully in traffic sometimes.

People thinks just because I'm big I cant move very fast! Yes cant wait to sleeper some m.f's further down the track!

Cheers [emoji111]

Have missed you guys coming over here.
Is great to meet people from a country so greatly diverse to our wee island's in the pacific.
The Americans we have spoken to at the market we'd been doing for the last 4 years just love it here!
Is good feels for us to get that reciprocation from good people. Makes the hardness of life in a remote place (globally) worth the effort.

Hope it all comes right so we can see you soon! [emoji109]

New Zealand has always sounded like a beautiful place to me. Do you have any local shots to share? It might be time for me to relocate!

Hey yeah!!
Here is a couple of sunrise shots. I build a few bikes and the wife and I often do a 10k breakfast ride on a couple of vintage bmx's. I'll get out a take a few to share as well.
Lol I've reached my load cap for the month will have to become VIP to upload more.

So just the 1 pic for now more later.
