haha, Volant1 is a pretty nice guy. He hooked me up with some missing parts and the volant is now in working condition heres a couple pics
I took it for a drive around the block for a couple min and DEFF could feel something going on. It had that nice sound to it and even the chopped exhaust likes it. lol Burnouts are still easy if not easier






last pic is of my coil lol.. but does anyone know what that notch type thing is in the top of the throttle body cover???

yea this cover is 2 times better then that first one they produced.. i like this one a lot. It was a very good and easy install, just the tube going into the "box", it was hard to tighten the hose clamp and to have enough around the tube.. like the hose clamp kept slipping off the tube and would just tighten down the filter.. its hard to explain..

You know how the factory running light is in direct way of the fender tube? i was wondering if we could get more flow by moving around some stuff behind it. or buying a limited bumper and run 2 ducts right into the bottom of the box.. that ***** would be sucking air like a mother then

sweet! what did you pay for your kit? i like it, its not as loud as i expected. i think my other setup i had was more "aggressive sounding". But i know now its clean air going through my motor and not from a round fram shit thing. i didnt have directions, nor did i need them.

Getting the tube into the box and clamping the filter on with a hose clamp, is still the hardest part. Not sure whats up with it, but tell me how yours goes. Is that edelbrock intake any higher then the factory intake? if it is, i think you might have a hell of a time getting that filter to clamp on the tube..

$255 shiped, so around $70 cheaper than most retailers.

It is a 1/4 of an inch higher than the OE intake. Sounds like I wont be able to run the throttle body spacer anymore. LoL hopefully the directions will make the install easier than yours. We will see how it goes.

oh thats right you have a spacer too! hmm give it a shot with it on, but from what ive done and all the taking off and putting back on, i couldnt get it to reallly fit tight. im not sure tho if my 92Kblazer motor has anything different then your 95 tahoe motor.. could be something that mine is different. but you will soon find out. i have 2 different lids, i hope you got the one in the pics above, the other lid isnt to pretty.

Damn, forgot to say anything about the lid, **** it, oh well. Engines should be the same, haha hopefully it goes on without a hitch, cant wait.

LMAO well I fucken got this thing after a month of waiting, didn't even think the order had gone through and forgot about it.

Anyway, just installed it...and yes, getting the filter onto the fucken tube is the hardest part. Uhm...the tube sitting on the throttle body can also be a bit better, it is of centered a bit which I did not like. Didn't have to relocate or take out the engine light either. Also got the same shiny lid as you, except the red circle on yours is blue on mine.

Took it for a drive around the block and yes you can instantly notice a difference. Picks up and goes faster.

LMAO the list will keep growing. Brakes need to be replaced....have my eye on the SSBC drum to disc kit and their front rotor/caliper upgrade kit along with Russell stainless brake lines. After that new exhaust...headers, cat and muffler.

DAMNNNN!!! you got the cash floww huh?! Now that you got the kit, you see anything on your credit card for the volant? My list has stopped until next yr unfortunately. but im looking to snag that manifold and a MSD dizzy soon. Have you looked into headers yet? i cant find shit in the long tube section.

Hahaha had the cash flow for a while....'till I was laid off. 'Hoe was paid in cash and have money saved up. Being single + no kids + good paying job = the shit.

Yeah, logged onto my bank account as soon as I seen the box at my door.

Going with shorties as long tubes aren't legal here in the great ol' state of California! LoL Edelbrock Ti-Tech coated shorty headers and y-pipe, Magnaflow cat and a SI/DO Magnaflow 14" muffler.
