Trying to install this poly bushing on the passenger side. Been wrestling it for 20 minutes and it won't budge. Any ideas?

The poly bushing is much thicker. There's no way this is going to fit. Anyone had success installing one of these?
Would you consider shaving some off the end, making it a little shorter circumference-wise? Not sure if that would work for you.
CUT THE LENGTH TO FIT?

Now i will, missed my return period by 2 weeks on amazon. Let's see what happens
Even if you cut it slightly short to finally get it in there by length, it looks to be thicker and may also be a bear to still circle the rack and go in there. If you do cut a tad too short on the length, the rest of the circle of the bushing should still protect the rack.
