this is just after i installed a new head unit. any ideas? i've replaced the fuse (30) twice now and the flasher. i took the HU out, checked all wires, made sure they were taped off and all was well. i don't know what it could be but i do know that everything was FINE before i put it in.

On the Gm wiring harness you bought, you didnt hook anything up to the Dash or illumination wires did you?

so i double checked all the connections, even cut and capped off ones that weren't needed and it's still doing it. it actually should be a 20A fuse for the signals, not 30A and i've replaced it and minutes later it blows. when i hit my signals, i see the battery gauge dip a little, the lights kind of dim and the radio cuts out for a sec and the fuse is blown. it may just be coincidence that it happened after i installed the stereo, so is there anywhere else i should check? what else would make the turn signal fuse blow over and over and over?

the radio and signals should be different circuits/fuses try groundingthe radio right to metal dont ground it through the harness.obviously you have a short! it could be your signal switch assembly or you rear tail light circuit boards .you can try disconnecting your tail lights and see if it still pops the fuse

does anyone have a wiring diagram or schematic on how the turn signal wires run?
