Help choosing stainless brake line kit

I want to upgrade to stainless braided lines when I do a brake job soon. Which is the best kit for a 2006 LS with stabilitrak (Russell, Stoptech, Centric, Goodridge, etc.)? I've read some kits don't include all the hoses for the rear (5 instead of 6) and others report them not fitting correctly.

After doing a lot of digging it looks like the Goodridge kit has been retrofitted to correct the previous issue with the 6 line kits for trucks with stabilitrak. Guess I'll give them a try.

Or for a cheap upgrade, some NNBS calipers and rotors. Bolt on n' go.

I was back and forth on going the NNBS upgrade route, but didn't want to shell out the $$$ on calipers. Was just going to stay stock and go with Z36 Powerstop rotors and pads.

Make sure you get the nnbs caliper mounting brackets too.

So what's the concensus on this?? I'm fairly close to pulling trigger on my 4 piston swap and want to replace the front lines. I may just get new ac Delco for the rear ones. 2005 LT Tahoe 2wd here

I was back and forth on going the NNBS upgrade route, but didn't want to shell out the $$$ on calipers. Was just going to stay stock and go with Z36 Powerstop rotors and pads.

I think that is a big mistake if your going to do brakes upgrade the calipers to at least 08-14 model year calipers,rotors and pads.Your talking about a giant step towards better stopping.Or go all out with the new silverado cailper upgrade but not sure what rims will fit.I went with the stock size z36 power stop pads and rotors at first when i got my tahoe.I threw them in the garbage because i wasnt happy at all with the stopping distance or pedal feel.The good ridge lines will firm up your pedal and the newer calipers and bigger rotors and pads will shorten your stopping distance.

With the 4 piston setup your rims may not fit. There is a tread here on it.

I have the trailboss wheel on my truck. Only interested in what everyone else is using for stainless steel brake lines. I saw it somewhere on the other threads here before. Just looking for recent feedback.

I used these for front and rear, and have had 0 issues. Probably going on 5 years now.

The goodridge center line fittings are still too deep to seal with factory fittings. How were you able to get a proper line from them?

I finally got in touch with goodridge and after talking to three people they confirmed that the center line fittings don't seal. They did send me tiny copper inserts to fix the issue. I haven't put them in yet but will update.

Goodrich has known about this problem for awhile. I'm surprised they're not including them in their kits--unless you bought an older setup.

I ended up needing to buy adapters from Orielly to install my center lines. They were different thread pitches.
