hey guess, new 2 the site and I just want to say its a great information site, ive found this site very helpful. But I need some real good help. I have a 2004 Hoe and trying to get my system rolling. I have for 4 15in Kicker CVR's, and 2 amps 1500watts each putting 600rms to each sub, But I want to know should I go with 2 alternators instead of the factory. They put out 145 amperage. I dont have enough money for the ones steve meade uses, but this 1's I am able to pick up brand new off a buddy for $133 each. I am also looking at aftermarket speakers in future along with some leds, and etc. So is that good aand also should I get 2 or 3 Pleaseee help Thank you!!!:emotions122::emotions122::shocked:

And your not going to need that big of an alt for the power your running. I would get a good rear battery and see how it goes from their. The stock alts in our tahoe's are 130 amp which are pretty decent compared to other cars with 70, 80, 90 amp alts etc...

There are other good alt brands other than the one "steve meade" uses lol. You will be fine with (1) 200+ amp alt from a good company like mechman or dc power.

I actually have a 3/5 drop and my drivers side rubs a little, but i have torsion keys in the front so i can lift/raise it all i want to adjust for that. I do have 305/35/24's, you can get 305/30/24's and be okay.

add a second battery for now, that will help with the power you have, a second battery will fix it for some time, then get a better alt down the road.
