Heated Steering Wheel Quit?

My heated steering wheel quit working while driving down the road yesterday. Got it to come back on once momentarily. Today, nothing. Looked here on TYE. Under hood fuse box #48 is for the heated steering wheel. Popped the hood and took the cover off the fuse box. Decal on inside lid says its a 10amp in slot #48. Look where the fuse is supposed to be and its "EMPTY"???? and there aren't any female spades for a fuse???? So I wiggle and bang on the fuse box and its contents. Turn the key on, push the button on the steering wheel for sw heat, and now its working perfectly.

I jacked with the fusebox again today and nothing?
