Headlight clarification

I’ve read all the whole pinned write up and all the comments along with it. I just can’t seem to find a solid answer on headlights. I don’t care about projectors or anything like that. I just want some more light output without blinding everyone on the road.

is it best to just change bulbs?
Instal HIDs?
Entire new headlight housing?

min yet to find a straightforward answer so any experience or advice is greatly appreciated.

If your lenses are still nice and clear, you can just upgrade the bulbs themselves
to a higher quality/brightness..
There's plenty of choices out there.
The hid's aren't my favorite.. And stay away from the LED's unless you
change the housing itself to accommodate the LED's or HID's- that's why
people get blinded out
